It's time for you. Can't just stops big ask question of the day. Welcome to you can't just stop the place for quietly stubborn entrepreneurs with big goals and Greens. After encountering hundreds of high achieving athletes, entrepreneurs and world changers, I've discovered that many times their impact comes from the questions they ask as much as the actions they take. That's why I invite you to answer a question each and every day to reach your goals. And now for today's question. What can I do today that I'll be grateful for in twenty years? We just really recently. We just recently pass through the twenty anniversary in one and eleven and, full disclosure, I spent that day being somewhat emotional. That day is always tough for me, especially those big anniversaries like the five year, ten year, fifteen year, because we start doing all the all...

...of the media stories, right we're going back and relive in the day, seeing all the video and you know, that got me thinking. Twenty years is a long time and it's not a long time. It goes by in a flash because you know, eleven to me seem was like just yesterday, right that was twenty years ago and it just seems like yesterday. There's so much about that day I can remember, but at the same time it seems like light years ago. I look at pictures of myself from twenty years ago, look at pictures of my wife and I have from twenty years ago, like these two little dough I'de kids right with no clue. So I a lot can change in twenty years. And but what? What seeds did I plant twenty years ago that I'm grateful for today? And what can I do today then I'm going to be grateful for in twenty years, because it's going to go by, you know, Bang, gone, it's going to go...

...buy and what did I what am I going to do today that's going to impact me twenty years from now? I can think of specific things around that time frame of n eleven that I did that I'm grateful for today. Around that time I was newly in business. I had started my first, not my first, but my first real business. I had other businesses before that. I don't know if I'd call them real, but I had. That was my first real business that I started right just a year before that. So I'm really grateful I did that, because I think myself every day for that that I that I had the guts to take that leap and and make that business. I can think about things. You know, this is easy because I have that fence poste and eleven, which is right here, which really helps me think of what was I doing this month twenty years ago? And I know exactly what I was doing. I was taking really good care...

...of a couple customers. I learned a lot about customer service, you know, twenty years ago that I'm grateful for today. I made some relationships twenty years ago that I'm grateful for today. But this question is about moving to the future. So what am I going to do today that I'm going to be grateful for? And let's do the math. Twenty forty one. Holy Shit, two thousand and forty one. It's only twenty years away and when you say it out loud it just seems like, oh my that can't be possible. But twenty forty one. What am I going to be grateful for today, September of two thousand and twenty one? What am I going to be grateful for to in in twenty years that I did today? And there's a lot of things that you could do today and you know what they are. I'm not going to give them to you. So I kind of went dark and heavy today and sorry, but maybe the help you playing a seed, maybe you'll do something with today that you're going to look back twenty years...

...from now and said, Dang, I'm glad I listen to that podcast. See You Tomorrow.
